Detail Explanation of techniques used in the creation of the interactive poster

The techniques used in our poster are: fear, shock advertising and the problem benefit one. Now we are going to explain the techniques, and put some quotes (of the poster):


Fear: this technique is about taking a dangerous and fearful approach to persuade a customer that they need to buy a product. We wanted to create fear to our audience, saying that the world is ending, and that we needed to do something about it. Quote: "each day less people care about the place where their children will live"
Shock advertising: Occurs when the ad appeals to move the audience by presenting shocking images or situations. We used this technique to shock people, and to raise the awareness of what is happening in our planet, so they can take action in this problem. Quote: "We all know that the world it`s in trouble"
Problem- Benefit: The ad  shows what kinds of problems can arise when people do not use the product, or service. We showed some ways to improve the environmental issue. The problem= global warming.  Benefit= the palace where your children will live. Quotes "we will give you some tips to save the world, for the future generations." "Save the world at your home"

Description of the Advertising Campaign

This campaign is important because it is necessary to raise awareness of the environment  to prevent some disasters in the future. The campaign is directed for all types of audience because we all need to be aware about the environment, especially the kids and young people, because they are going to be the future of our planet. The objectives of our campaing are: get the attention of the people, and tell them how they can save the planet (and also save some money), and how we can make this better. The mass media used in this campaign was: print media (the pamphlet), internet (the glogster), and broadcast media (podcast). The steps we followed to make our campaign were:  we started with the pamphlet (due date march 28), then we made an interactive poster, using glogster, (due date April 11), we need to do a podcast of the campaign (due date April 18), and the last stage is an oral presentation for the 23 of April.
